Holiday Summary!

Just thought I would give a summary of what has been going on with the Bundy family lately! Hmmm, most of the month of December has now passed us by. The kids and I were pretty busy keeping up with all the hustle and bustle. We had the normal stuff to do, like preschool, and church, and lots of trips to the post office to send Tyson stuff to help his time away from home pass more quickly. Then there were the extra things to do, like the kids got sick, and I started some physical therapy for my lower back which has been bothering me a bit for this pregnancy. And we decided to do the 12 days of Christmas for 4 families, so we had to get that stuff made and delivered each day. Then finally, on December 21, Tyson came home after being gone for 7 weeks! Yeah! It made my Christmas! That was all that I wanted! A few days before he came home, his computer decided to quit working for me. So I didn't have a computer. But that wasn't so bad, because I had lots to keep me busy. Just ask my dad! He likes to "comment" on my desire to make Christmas presents. And how years ago, I didn't do a very good job with finishing them all. But I have done pretty well on finishing them since I got married (except for a quilt for Carolyn and Curtis- sorry guys!) So I got those all done and mailed off.
Then we just had family time and some sleep time. Because ater 7 weeks of Tyson being gone, neither one of us had gotten much sleep lately. We are still recovering.
Then I had choir practice (I am the ward choir director) on Saturday for the Sunday program, then we had our Sunday Sacarment program that I was kind of in charge of, and Monday was Christmas Eve. I had to stand in line at the post office for almost an hour to pick up packages, after a PT appointment, and then Tyson and I took the kids to Walmart, so we could take turns swapping kids so they could get Christmas presents for each other and us. I was pretty wiped out by the end of that. Then that night we delivered our last days of the 12 days of Christmas, and some other things before heading up to my parents for the traditional Christmas Eve party/program. We didn't have a lot of people there like we have had in years past, but we were able to focus on Christ's birth which is the whole point. Then we went home and kids went to bed, and after getting the last of the presents wrapped and under the tree, we were able to finaly relax and calm down. Santa came sometime in the night, and finally at 9 AM on Christmas the kids woke up. You can tell they were tired! We were all really spoiled and got lots of nice and wonderful presents. My wonderful honey got me a new printer that I didn't fully appreciate until I opened a companion present for it, that was paper but was 13"x19"! It will print great big papers! And it will do a great job on pictures. For those of you that don't know, I have had a lot of heartache with pictures this past year. We had lost all of our pictures. So some of the best presents I got, were pictures in the time frame that I had lost. Curtis had gone through and printed off all the pictures they had that related to our family. And my dad, after lots of frustrating hours, was finally able to recover my hard drive that had pictures from April to about September of this year. And Bethany has sent me pictures that they had too. So if you have any you want to share, we would be greatful. And now with my new printer, (and all the hours Tyson is putting in to get my comptuer back up and running) I will be spending some more time on learning digital scrapping. But don't worry, I won't give up traditional because I like being able to do the hands on method too!

Okay, so this was supposed to be a summary, and there is way more info here than most of you want to know, so I'll wrap it up. We are vegging, trying to destress some. Tyson is going to be working on homework lots over the next week. I need to get the house cleaned and laundry done. In other words, we need to get life back to normal. But my parents left to head down to AZ and then they will be going to Mexcio after that. They must feel they need some sun! I know that feeling! But we are going to be getting ready for the baby to get here in February. So lots to do!

I think that is as much summary as anyone needs, and hopefully I will be able to get some pictures on here soon. I did get a new camera from my parents as well, which will help in my picture endeavors. So one of these days, plan on seeing some more here! But in the meantime, have a great week, and enjoy the New Year as it comes!

Yay for long blog posts! It was so fun to read about all your adventures. I'm tired now too! I'm excited that Tyson is home again. My parents are visiting for Christmas, and we've been having a blast.

Great to see what you and your family are up to way up north. We hardly ever get to see pics or hear what any of you are doing, since we're over here in Tucson. Thanks for visiting mine, we'll continue to check yours!
Happy Holidays!
