I have been preparing my preschool lessons for this week, and we are doing a unit on Patriotism. I found this video by Red Skelton on The Pledge of Allegiance, and thought it was great. Sometimes, when we are used to saying it so much, it does become monotonous, and we might forget what it really does mean. So take a few minutes to watch this and see if you agree with him.

Wow. That was really neat. Thank you for finding it and sharing it. I will have to share it with Anya after school. It's hard for little kids to learn the words but if they know the meaning behind them, it might make it just a titch easier. You are awesome!
i think i've seen this before and i love it! really makes you think about what you are saying. i really do miss saying the pledge of allegiance every day in school...
